Here's a simple recipe for Paneer Hungama:
Ingredients:
- 250g paneer (cubed)
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (bell peppers, onions, tomatoes)
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add ginger-garlic paste and sauté until golden.
2. Add chopped onions and cook until they become translucent.
3. Stir in chopped tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
4. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
5. Add the mixed vegetables and cook until they are tender.
6. In a separate bowl, whisk yogurt and add it to the pan. Stir continuously to avoid curdling.
7. Add cubed paneer and garam masala. Cook for a few more minutes.
8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
9. Serve hot with naan or rice.
