kadai paneer recipe

here's a basic recipe for Kadai Paneer:
Ingredients:
- 250g paneer (cottage cheese), cut into cubes
- 2-3 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper (capsicum), thinly sliced
- 2-3 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1-2 green chilies, finely chopped (adjust to your spice preference)
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- 1 teaspoon dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi)
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish

Instructions:
1. Heat oil in a kadai (wok) or a large pan. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

2. Add finely chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.

3. Add ginger-garlic paste and chopped green chilies. Sauté for a few more minutes until the raw smell disappears.

4. Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft and the oil starts to separate.

5. Add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.

6. Add the sliced bell peppers and sauté for 2-3 minutes, allowing them to retain some crunch.

7. Add the paneer cubes and gently mix everything together. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the paneer is heated through.

8. Sprinkle garam masala and dried fenugreek leaves (kasuri methi) over the kadai paneer. Mix well.

9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.

Enjoy your homemade Kadai Paneer!
